This March, Housing Works is thrilled to celebrate 11 years of The Undetectables, our groundbreaking program that empowers people living with HIV to achieve and maintain viral suppression. Through unwavering support; innovative treatment options, like long-acting injectable Cabenuva; and a commitment to the Ending the Epidemic Initiative, The Undetectables continues to change lives.

At Housing Works alone, over 2,600 clients have engaged with The Undetectables over the past 11 years. Today, about 900 clients—half of the HIV-positive population at Housing Works—are actively enrolled in the program, with an incredible 90% achieving viral load suppression. This is a testament to the dedication of our clients, who work closely with their primary care teams and case managers to overcome barriers to medication adherence and take control of their health.

Beyond Housing Works, thousands of New Yorkers have joined The Undetectables through our nine partner agencies, leading to millions of dollars in incentives, countless hours of case management, and thousands of reduced viral loads across the HIV-positive community. This success is not just about numbers—it’s about a shared commitment to supporting our clients, friends, and family members in living longer, healthier lives.

To honor this milestone year, we’re inviting clients, staff, and community members to join us for UND Month 2025—a month-long celebration filled with exciting events, educational opportunities, and exclusive swag giveaways. As we reflect on over a decade of progress, we will continue to uplift the resilience, dedication, and hard work of the people who make this program possible. Together, we are proving that Undetectable = Untransmittable—and that achieving an HIV-free future is possible.
