Who can make an appointment with Housing Works Community Healthcare?

We provide equal access to quality healthcare to all persons regardless of age, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or the ability to pay or source of payment.

How much does it cost?

There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept a variety of insurance plans. A sliding scale fee is also available.

Can I schedule a virtual appointment?

Yes! Visits such as therapy, medication refills, or lab reviews can be done via telehealth. Ask your provider or book your appointment today.

Get PrEP

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is the gold standard for HIV prevention for HIV-negative individuals at risk of contraction. There are two types of PrEP available: a daily pill and a bi-monthly injection. Join our PrEP program and get your medication delivered for free by partner pharmacies.

Telehealth

Housing Works is happy to offer access to quality healthcare from the comfort of your home. Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, visits such as therapy, medication refills, or lab reviews can be done via telehealth. 

What is it?

Telehealth refers to virtual care via the Internet using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Telemedicine, virtual care, and televisits are terms often used interchangeably with “telehealth.”

What do you need to access telehealth?

To access telehealth at Housing Works, you will need an Internet connection, a device to conduct the visit, and a private space space to protect your confidentiality.

How do you join a telehealth visit?

Once your virtual appointment is confirmed, you will receive a text message with a link to use at the time of your appointment. You will receive the link again 30 minutes before the time of the televisit. You can also go to the Healow patient portal and enter the telehealth code given to you by your provider.
