Tameka White

Tameka White is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experiences in cardiovascular surgery and critical care including for COVID ICU. She has extensive experience in chronic care management, including conditions such as hypertension and structural heart disease. She has also utilized advanced ICU telemedicine to provide critical care management to remote sites in underserved areas. Further, she has worked at large academic institutions such as Mount Sinai Health System as an integral part of their development for structural heart care. She has also worked at NYU Langone and Northwell Health.

She was further instrumental in providing and leading clinical care innovations for DHS COVID Hotels providing leadership and expertise in targeting care for some of NYC most vulnerable patients. Bringing high level care to individuals who were marginalized from care with COVID diagnosis and ensured that marvel therapy such as vaccinations and monoclonal antibodies were made available to folks from shelters.
