About This Provider

Dr. Elaina Ramos, MD received her Bachelor's in Sociology at Brown University and her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Program in New York City.

Dr. Ramos is experienced in providing general primary care for adults and children, as well as specialized primary care for adult patients with HIV/AIDS, patients with substance use disorders, and patients seeking gender affirming care. Dr. Ramos also provides PrEP services for patients interested in taking medication to prevent HIV.

NOTE: AT THIS TIME IUD INSERTION AND REMOVAL IS NOT AVAILABLE AT HOUSING WORKS. Only Nexplanon insertions and removals are available at the Downtown Brooklyn Clinic while we expand our procedural offerings. Dr. Ramos is trained in gynecological and reproductive procedures including pap smears, Nexplanon insertion/removal, and IUD insertion and removal.
