Benjamin (Ben) Tien

Ben is a mental health therapist with a master’s degree in clinical social work from Hunter College. He has worked in clinical and community settings with many populations, including immigrants, people with disabilities, adults, older adults, and adolescents. He also brings a wealth of experience working cross-culturally in humanitarian assistance and global health, including two stints living abroad. Ben’s therapeutic style is warm and genuine, and he tailors therapy according to his clients’ needs, drawing from his skills in CBT, ACT, mindfulness, grief counseling, and trauma-informed care.
